Kidney and Ureteric Stones

Kidney and ureteric stones are hard mineral deposits that form in the kidneys and can cause severe pain. Symptoms may include sharp pain in the back or side, blood in the urine, nausea, and frequent urination.

I carry out rigid and flexible ureteroscopy and uretero-renoscopy to investigate and treat stones, usually by laser fragmentation and basketting of fragments.
